This Notgeld is the 2nd denomination of a 3-piece set, issued by the City of Halberstadt. The city rests on the northern foothills of the Hartz Mountains. The city is known for the medieval Halberstadt Cathedral, which houses items from the Fourth Crusade (1202–1204). The most important building are located in the Domplatz (Cathedral Place).
This Notgeld set is color-coded and features repeating design elements. All notes feature Bishop Buko von Halberstadt (1028-1088). Who served as the city's Bishop from 1059, until his death. He is often depicted with children and is featured in nursery rhymes. (This note will be reviewed reverse first)
Reverse
The reverse center features an illustration of Bishop Buko surrounded by children. Above him is the title "Buko von Halberstadt". While below lists the note's issuer "Halberstadt (on) Hartz". Besides Bishop Buko are illustrations of houses, in Halberstadt's old town.
The are number "25"s above and below, these illustration. Above the right-side home is the text "Pfg", identifying the note's 25 Pfennig value. While below the bottom number "25"s is additional text. The right reads, "Buko von Halberstadt". While the right reads, "bring something to my child". This part of a Bishop Buko nursery rhyme.

Observe
The observe features a statue of Saint George, from the Halberstadt Cathedral. Flanking the statue are large number "25"s, representing the note's 25 Pfennig value. Below these numbers is additional text. The left lists details on the note's validity and serial number (021953 *). The note can be redeemed at the city registry, until "3 months after recall in local newspaper".
The right side lists the note, as issued by "Halberstadt (on) Hartz" on the "27 April 1921". Below is the signature of the City Magistrate. While the footer below lists the note's printer as "Louis Koch-Halberstadt".
